CRC provides schools, families, organizations, and communities with opportunities to develop skills in addressing conflict and preventing and repairing harm. Our commitment to nonviolence and social change informs our work with young people, educators, people in prison and re-entry, and communities working to end systemic bias and inequality. We believe there are creative and constructive alternatives to deal with conflict and harm. Unlike punishment, a restorative approach can help break the cycle of violence, encourage growth and healing, and transform communities. Our workshops and circles focus on the CRC themes cooperation, communication, affirmation, conflict resolution, bias awareness, creative responses to bullying, problem-solving, restorative practices, and mediation.
