The LGBTQQ Workshops are a half day program that grew out of an expressed need to focus specifically on the prevention of homophobia. The workshops explore the underlying causes of homophobia and other forms of sexual prejudice. This workshop can be presented to employees of an organization or company to raise awareness about homophobia and foster the ability to be an empathetic ally to LGBTQQ people.
CRC developed a curriculum that combines LGBTQQ issues and bullying prevention for after-school staff that can be used to help students become more aware of homophobia and how to respond to it.
Bully Ban It is an LGBTQQ program for students, school teachers, and administrators, that raises awareness of the extreme and frequent bias against, and bullying and harassment of, LGBTQQ youth. Bully Ban It is a collaboration between CRC, Mo’s Arts, and CTM Dreams.
If you are interested in designing workshops, adapting curriculum or bringing Bully Ban It to your organization, company or school, please contact CRC at (845) 353-1796 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
