Training to Support DASA

The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) seeks to provide NY public school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property and buses, or at school events. For nearly 50 years, CRC has helped administrators, teachers, parents, and students create inclusive environments where social-emotional learning is a priority. CRC offers workshops to provide educators and students with skills and tools to develop a safe and positive school community.  We also do concurrent workshops with parents so they share with their children language and methods for becoming inclusive and caring. For students who have completed these workshops, CRC also provides peer mediation training so they can play an active role in fostering a more harmonious school environment where everyone feels safe and supported. CRC workshops that support DASA:

Based on staff and student needs, CRC tailors workshops for each school to foster safer, more inclusive learning communities. Because bias plays a significant role in bullying, we recommend bias awareness work before bullying prevention and intervention workshops. If you’d like CRC to help you build a more inclusive school, call us at (845)574-4225 or email us at inquiries@crc-global.org.
