A Collaboration in Conflict Resolution

Conflict Resolution Education Teacher Education (CRETE) and CRC facilitated their first joint workshop together as part of a JAMS Foundation grant. The four – day workshop was held at Richland College in  Dallas, Texas. Students who attend Southern Methodist College (SMU), participated in the workshop as well. CRC included themes such as bias awareness and affirmation. CRC also contributed much of the material for the bullying, relational aggression and cyberbullying full-day workshop. This was a culminating workshop that was part of the JAMS Foundation grant that was a collaboration between the nonprofits: CRC; CRETE; Educators for Social Responsibility (ESR); and the Western Justice Center (WJC). The sites for this project were: New York, Washington and Dallas – CRC; Chicago, San Francisco and Atlanta – ESR; and Los Angeles – WJC.
